Art is a major industry in Montana, and are credited with contributing $233 million to the state’s economy. $85 million of that comes from non-profit art groups.

Montana boasts approximately 6,000 artists, 300 galleries and museums, 350 performing and visual art groups, seven symphonies, and dozens of community theaters. More than 2,000 jobs in the state are related to the arts.
